Terms of Service ​

Welcome to PlantSay ("the App"). The App is developed and operated by zxdea ("we," "us," or "our"). Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms ​

By downloading, installing, registering for, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Services Provided ​

PlantSay is a plant identification and interaction platform. Key features include, but are not limited to:

  • Plant Identification: Identify plant species by taking or uploading photos.
  • Plant Chat: AI-based simulated conversations with plants.
  • Care Diary: Record plant growth status and care history.
  • Weather Services: Location-based weather information to assist with plant care.

3. User Conduct ​

You agree to use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You agree not to:

  • Post, transmit, or store content that violates laws or regulations.
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of others.
  • Engage in any activity that compromises network security.
  • Use the App for unauthorized commercial purposes.

4. Subscriptions and Payments ​

The App offers a premium subscription service ("Pro Version"):

  • Subscription Plans: Monthly, Yearly, and Lifetime options are available.
  • Payment: Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Cancellation: You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID Account Settings at any time.

5. Data and Privacy ​

We value your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information. The App uses iCloud for data storage. Your plant data and diaries are primarily stored in your personal private iCloud database.

6. Intellectual Property ​

  • All rights, title, and interest in and to the App (including software, code, interface design, text, images, etc.) belong to us.
  • You retain ownership of the photos and content you upload. By using the App, you grant us a license to use such content solely for the purpose of providing the Services (e.g., image analysis).

7. Disclaimers ​

  • AI Accuracy: The plant identification and chat features are based on artificial intelligence. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy of the results. The information provided is for reference only and should not be considered professional advice (especially regarding edible or medicinal plants).
  • Service Stability: We strive to maintain service availability but are not liable for interruptions caused by force majeure, network failures, or third-party service issues.

8. Changes to Terms ​

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be effective upon posting in the App. Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
